The firm – Charlan Brock and Associates, Inc., was founded by Butch Charlan and Gary Brock in 1981 and joined by David Portwood in 1985. Since the beginning, the firm has focused on meeting the changing needs of the development industry, with emphasis on all markets, pricing and densities in housing. We have become the go to firm for integrating housing of all types into Mixed-Use and Town centers. With our vast knowledge in housing we applied that to Student Housing, Seniors Housing, including Assisted Living and Continued Care Residential Communities. We have also focused on helping both our Private and Municipal clients figure out how to put a multituneof various uses into cohesive, vibrant, successful communities or design solutions. At the same time we continue to enjoy providing highly successful solutions to Resort Housing, Retail, Office and Hospitality projects.
